As Principal, managing member, and founder of Accent Design Build (ADB), Dorothy continues to successfully endeavor on the challenge of operating and overseeing daily operations of ADB as a female in a male-dominated industry. Her unique professional experience of managing and refining various business structures, with over a decade of experience, enables Dorothy to effectively direct ADB’s portfolio and strategic operations. Dorothy’s background fosters support related to sought-after professional service, due diligence, and control of each project’s financial feasibility.

Dorothy manages all aspects of ADB’s development, operations, financials, resources, contracts, and as a team leader assigns roles and responsibilities. With an exceptional design skill set and as a keen observer of urban design and today’s dynamic culture, she leads the firm’s design services and marketing initiatives. Dorothy strives to model ADB’s business structure to focus on meeting the client’s needs and exceeding expectations.

Dorothy is a graduate of Purdue University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management majoring in Accounting.

Damian is a managing member and co-founder of Accent Design Build. He has spent over 18 years in the construction industry in various markets: residential, commercial, healthcare, and government, where he gained experience in construction management of projects ranging from new construction, to restoration and build-out with values of up to $120 million per single project. Damian’s valuable expertise of managing tenant-occupied major remodel & renovation projects provides an advantage for resourceful planning, coordination, and application of strategic solutions.

Damian oversees and coordinates all construction and project activities, performs due diligence, and ensures a fulfillment of contractual obligations. In addition to managing contractors, vendors, risks, stakeholders, and field construction progress, he initiates and oversees all aspects of the design on Design-Build projects. His technical skills and commitment to perfection enable him to deliver his undertakings with surpassing results.

Damian is a graduate of Purdue University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Construction Management and a minor in Architectural Engineering Technologies.

Kent serves an integral role as a consulting partner and construction manager for ADB. His professional experience and technical knowledge spans across a wide variety of residential and commercial projects. Kent has demonstrated abilities in leadership, teamwork, and organization with over a decade of project management experience in constructing and renovating projects for general contracting firms.

Kent coordinates construction activities, manages contractors and vendors, coordinates project logistics, and develops schedules and estimates. In addition, his background allows for support related to due diligence, verification of building code compliance, and quality/safety inspections.

Kent is a graduate of Eastern Michigan University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Construction Management.

Paul works as a Field Operations Manager and he directly oversees all daily field activities. He has logged over 29 years of construction experience with a focus on new residential of custom homes and commercial remodeling/renovation. Throughout his time spent in the field Paul has developed an essential ability to envision the logistics of a project and accurately detail the costs and resources necessary to perform the work.

Paul’s hands-on background includes self-performing work with full aspects of general carpentry and significant knowledge of multiple trades. In addition, his attention to detail and proven ability to effectively manage a crew, vendors, and subcontractors, enables ADB to deliver high-quality finished products.

Paul is a skilled Carpenter with Technical degree in Master Carpentry and Supervision.
